Our safety professionals strive to ensure everyone returns home safe at the end of the day.

Safety is at the core of everything we do and is one of our central guiding principles. We promote and foster a culture where people truly care about one another and where everyone shares in our goal of zero incidents.

Health, safety and environment focuses on uncompromised safety core values, personal commitment and a passionate belief in achieving zero injuries. We look to achieve this through frontline leadership, positive recognition, safe work behaviors, accountability at all levels and reducing exposure.

We’re continuously looking for innovative ways to improve our safety practices and to work with our trade partners to embrace a mindset that is unwilling to compromise when it comes to keeping people safe at work.

Safety Innovation

We have evolved our safety practices by embracing technology both in the office and on the job site. Our health, safety and environment group has partnered with our business technology group to introduce two new applications.

Hazard Inspection

The hazard Inspection app blends machine learning with safety standards to conduct inspections. Using photos taken of hazards and an accompanying description, over time, the app will reduce manual entry, improve data quality and help our teams identify hazards to prevent safety incidents.

Pre-job Safety Instruction

The Pre-job Safety Instruction (PSI) and PSI Audit app introduces a new way to complete PSIs and PSI audits. By giving users access to documents and automatically capturing data, the PSI app reduces manual entry, saving time locating or submitting paper documents.
